This blog is dedicated to our madness... and trying to find the method in it. It tries to demystify the illusionary world we have created around us... which essentially leads to a "pseudo-us".

I think Harry said this to confuse them.
This is an old debating trick, when you want to prove a point and you fear a possible conclusion (or reason thereof); you state that conclusion upfront and deny it.
This helps the speaker gain credibility and the crowd loves him.
So who is using it? any guesses.
